flamencOrient was founded in Stockholm for one of the events of the Cultural Capital City of Europe 98 when our group of well-established dancers, musicians, singers and actors performed at the City Hall.

Our performances and ceremonies are the results of artistic development endeavours with flamenco, Swedish, Arabic, Turkish, Persian and Senegalese song, music, dance and multilingual theatre. Our repertoar is constantly expanding and we perform at an increasing range of stages and sites.

flamencOrient also carry out cultural-pedagogical programs and productions with youngsters, with drama, music and dance. Our artists have achieved acclaimed work on theatre and concert stages, film and television nationally and worldwide.
